Hi, I run a small business doing photpgraphy and graphic design and have been looking at NAS systems to have real time backup of my work. I will also use it for family PC backup and also for central storage of movies and music.

I have been looking at the Netgear readyNAS duo but then I was recommended the Synology Disk Station DS210 as an alternative.

I have read specs / reviews but was just wondering if anyone had some advice with ref to these 2 devices.

    Any help would be appreciated

I really like the ReadyNAS products.

The Duo is nice but does limit you to just 2 drives, though with 2x2TB drives RAID1 (X-RAID..) you still have a LOT of space.

I have a ReadyNAS NVX (4 drives) which I REALLY like. You can start with 2 or 3 drives if you want to save money.

    Reviews of both at NetworkStorageTips
