QNAP has launched the QNAP TS-x79 NAS, TS-x59 Pro II NAS and the MS-2000 media player at the annual COMPUTEX tradeshow in Taipei, Taiwan May 31-June 4.

Turbo NAS Servers
TS-x79 Business series Turbo NAS – New 8 & 10-drive desktop and 10 & 12-drive rack-mounted enterprise-class NAS servers powered by multi-core Intel® Xeon® & Core™ i3 CPUs with Intel’s vaunted Sandy Bridge I/O architecture. New Turbo NAS V3.5 NAS Management Software
QNAP will demonstrate its new V3.5 NAS Management Software, which is embedded into all QNAP Turbo NAS servers as firmware. QNAP has a long history of continuing to add new features to its Turbo NAS servers and makes new versions available free of charge. New in V3.5 comes advanced support for business customers, including LDAP support, iSCSI LUN backups, anti-virus application, and military-grade AES encryption for NAS volumes and externally attached storage. The new firmware will be installed in new Turbo NAS models and is available for free download for legacy users.
VioStor NVR Surveillance Systems
New PC-less VS-2004 (4-channel) and VS-2008L (8-channel) VioStor NVR (Network Video Recorder) models are ideal for securing small office, home, or retail stores and feature broad IP camera support, advanced video analytics, and remote live monitoring from mobile devices or any Internet-connected computer.
