Averages about 14Mbs transfer, which is achingly slow for my taste. Not very quite. Fan runs constantly and having front cover on unit makes it operate even louder. OK for home networks, but not for business networks because there is currently no active directory support.

No print Server is a huge minus but the performance is excellent for this price.

This is a speedy and quiet NAS with jumbo frame support. That's too bad it doesn't work as a print server (there's no USB port available). Also forgetaboutit if you wanna have this puppy do Bittorent (the DNS323 does support it). But if you just need a fast, inexpensive NAS enclosure, this would be a solid choice.
